I Evoke Brow XIX: Hey Nineteen

The cuervo gold
The fine columbian
Make tonight a wonderful thing

Neither time nor inclination to post for, uh, half a year or so, but I need to record this line from Arthur Phillips’s Prague, as a character awkens, hung-the-hell-over on New Year’s Day:

Now that is how you turn a phrase. So simple but very clever–it made me grin to myself.

Not quite finished with the book and not quite sure how to review it. It’s sort of effortlessly interesting–short on plot but wonderfully written.
